Clear Data from Hosted Apps in Chrome
I recently noticed a new option in the clear browsing data panel of Google Chrome: Clear data from hosted apps. This option is probably unique to Chrome as there is no similar thing in other browsers I use (Firefox, Internet Explorer etc.).
Just surprising what this option means and should I select it to clear when I delete other browsing data. I’m very conscious about my privacy and frequently delete all browsing data except saved passwords.

@Prashant: Yes, this option is unique to Chrome.
Chrome offers various hosted apps in its Web Store (https://chrome.google.com/webstore) – these hosted apps are slightly different from the web apps as they are capable of storing some data in user’s computer. By deleting these data, you clear the memory used by such apps.
I would not recommend to delete hosted apps’ data frequently.
